Rock Climbing 101 - Intro to Top Rope Climbing
In this introductory to Top Rope Rock Climbing Course you will learn the basics of outdoor rock climbing via the Top Rope method.
In this course you will learn;

how to use a Sit Climbing Harness, Climbing Helmet, and a Tube Style Belay Device.

how to properly tie the knots needed for outdoor climbing, how to tie in to a harness, how to belay a climber, and how to escape the belay for self rescue.

​You will be provided with climbing gear and instruction.
This course will take 3 hours of instruction and 2-3 hours of practice and climbing time.
You will be outdoors, so it is necessary to bring water, lunch or snacks, sun tan lotion and bug repellent.
Must be 14 years or older. Parental Permission needed for those under 18.
Minimum Class Size: 2 Maximum Class Size: 5

Rock Climbing 102 - Anchor Building and Rappelling
PREREQUSITE: Rock Climbing 101

In this continuation of Rock Climbing 101 - Top Rope Rock Climbing you will learn the basics of building top rope anchors for Top Rope Climbing using 3 different types of materials, and how to rappel from the top of the climb safely using a tube style belay device. ​

You will be provided with climbing gear, anchor building materials and instruction.
This course will take 3 hours of instruction and 2-3 hours of practice and climbing time.
​You will be outdoors, so it is necessary to bring water, lunch or snacks, sun tan lotion and bug repellent. ​
Must be 14 years or older. Parental Permission needed for those under 18.
You must have completed ROCK CLIMBING 101 - Intro to Top Rope Climbing.
Minimum Class Size: 1 Maximum Class Size: 5

Rock Climbing 103 - Gym to Crag
This course is for competent gym climbers who have a solid understanding of tie in knots and belay techniques using a Gri-Gri or other mechanically assited belay device.
You will be provided with climbing gear, anchor building materials and instruction.
(You may use your own gear when possible upon inspection)
This course will take 5-6 hours of instruction and 2-3 hours of practice and climbing time.
You will be outdoors for a long period, so it is necessary to bring water, lunch and snacks, sun tan lotion and bug repellent.
Must be 14 years or older. Parental Permission needed for those under 18.
