In 2018, Niagara Adventure Club had planned to set up a multiday trip to Yosemite Park in order to complete the famous Half Dome hike. Unfortunately, obtaining permits for this hike is anything but easy, and to get a block of permits for a large group was pretty much impossible. So myself and one other member decided to visit Yosemite, and hope to get a cancellation permit, a gamble to say the least.
